50 Cent has really begun to lean into his partnership with the Houston Rockets, kicking things off this weekend by showing love to attendees at the Rockets’ annual Black Sports Professional Career Fair.

On Saturday (February 11), the “Many Men” mogul shared behind the scenes footage of him interacting with attendees before stepping away to catch a game at the Toyota Center.

“Why can’t I get a smile? I can’t get nothing out of you,” Fif can be heard saying to a young participant. “How much a smile cost? Five dollars?,” he joked before leaning in to give the young man a hug.

Later on in the video, the G-Unit head honcho can be seen taking group photos with fans, tossing swag into the crowd and autographing basketballs. Toward the end of the clip, the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ star has a brief exchange with a fan as he’s exiting the arena, in which he praised the fan for living his best life.

“Ya’ll showing off. Damn. That mothafucker hard. Look like ya’ll could put a ski rack in the back of that. Where ya’ll going, skiing?” he said with a laugh. “That’s what I call good living!”

“Houston different my kids out here on the money. Career day was great let’s go Rockets!” he captioned the post, emphasizing his appreciation for the people of H-Town.

Last spring, the NBA announced that Fif’s Sire Spirits — the rapper’s premium wine and spirits company — signed a multi-year partnership with the Houston Rockets, marking his very first major sports partnership.

As part of that deal, the rapper’s wine and spirits brands, Branson Cognac and Le Chemin du Roi Champagne, are featured throughout the Toyota Center via Sire Spirits-themed bars, a court-side section, a private suite (which belongs to 50 Cent) and a restaurant.

Meanwhile, 50 Cent’s philanthropic arm, the G-Unity Foundation, and the Rockets’ Clutch City Foundation have worked in the community to provide access to basic essentials like food, games and events for families who would otherwise not be able to experience them.

50 Cent later expanded his empire when he announced that he’d teamed up with the NBA once again, this time to ink a multi-year partnership deal with the Sacramento Kings. But the businessman didn’t stop there. In October of last year, the Indiana Pacers revealed that they too had enlisted Sire Spirits as the team’s exclusive beverage provider for the Gainbridge Fieldhouse arena.

All the aforementioned deals include Sire Spirits becoming the teams’ exclusive beverage partner, as well as various ventures with Fif’s charity the G-Unity Foundation.
