VannDa’s milestones just keep on coming.
The Cambodian hip hop star took to social media last night (May 16) to share another career win: his official YouTube channel has reached the 1-billion view mark, another landmark feat in contemporary Cambodian music history.
The hitmaker’s channel was launched in 2017 and has since garnered nearly 4 million subscribers to date. His breakthrough single and one of HipHopDX Asia’s Best Music Videos of 2021, “Time to Rise,” featuring Cambodian music legend Master Kong Nay, remains to be his most popular music video on YouTube, with over 112 million views.

In a short note on Facebook, VannDa wrote in Khmer, “Thank you guys for making [1 billion] views on my channel ❤️🔥. You guys are amazing, appreciate it.”

VannDa most recently joined his fellow Baramey labelmates in “Legacy,” a track dedicated to the athletes of the 2023 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, which was held in their home country of Cambodia.
