Malaysian rap crew S.A.C. (also known as S.A.C 東南亞 CINA) wants to introduce themselves in a short skit video, released on February 4.
The Johor-based four-piece group wrote in the video description that they haven’t introduced their members before, saying that “when it’s time to tell, we will write our own stories,” starting off with 74-second “INTRO (SKIT).”
S.A.C. is signed under Malaysian label Ban Huat Sdn. Bhd 萬發 (大馬) 私人有限公司 in 2020, whose roster includes Dato’ Maw, Jay Wang 王子慧, Yung Kai 癢凱, and Dametrill.
The crew’s music is described as trap-influenced rap music, “infused with Malaysian slang and languages.” Their name means “Southeast Asia Cina” which aims to “represent their own identity as Malaysian Chinese.”
