Khakii feels like the kind of rapper who’s more interested in showing up than showing off.

In his latest single, “Double Up,” the two-time Show Me The Moneycontestant pulls no punches, pouncing with bravado—clearly, his competitive days aren’t behind him. With a strong assist from sokodomo (the two were teammates in SMTM 10, working with Producer Team Zion T x Siom), Khakii shows why Korean hip hop dominates the local music industry next to, if not as much as, K-pop.

“Double Up” is Khakii’s third single this year so far under his label, WAVY. He opened 2022 with “Get the Bag,” his collaborative track with Ahn Byeong Woong, featuring 365LIT, SINCE & Don Mills. In February, he released “Mango.”
