New Dok2 music is underway.
On January 3, the South Korean rapper-producer announced that he will be releasing T.M.I.K.E.Y.T.I.D or Trust Me I Know Everything You Think I Don’t “soon.” The 16-track mixtape will drop under 808 HI RECORDINGS. The label also teased the album cover, which shows a mountainous vista, on Instagram with the caption, “Jan 2022, Coming to a theater near you.” No final release date has been shared as of writing.
Among excited fans include Jay Park, who has collaborated with Dok2 in the past and a co-judge in Show Me The Money 6, reacted to the announcement, tweeting, “Legend,” to which Dok2 replied, “Happy new years bro hope we link and chop it up in 2022.”
On January 5, the label previewed the 16 tracks, which include “Pinoy Dreams.” Dok2’s father is of Spanish and Filipino descent. T.M.I.K.E.Y.T.I.D marks the rapper’s first full-length project as Dok2 after years of performing under the DOK2GONZO moniker. Last year, he released “CULTURE,” his only track in 2021 and his first since 2019. His last full-length release was 2017’s Reborn.
