South Korean rapper Keith Ape wilds out in the sensory-altering visual for “Live Long and Soul Lives,” his latest single off his newly released album, MOD: Ape’s Basics in Time and Play, which dropped on September 20.

Declaring he’s unstoppable and unconventional, the “It G Ma” rapper continues to subvert expectations and norms in the burgeoning South Korean hip hop scene, sticking out with his abrasive cloud rap. “No one can stop me / If my sound is too loud, cover your ears,” he raps in Korean.

The visual for “Live Long and Soul Lives” was directed by JINROHGRAFIK and his third single off the album, following the release for the double drop, “I Don’t Want Peace” and “I’m JUST.” Keith Ape released a previewof MOD: Ape’s Basics in Time and Play on September 15.

Keith Ape gained global recognition in 2015 when he released his breakout single, “It G Ma,” which included cross-country (Japan and South Korea) features from JayAllDay, Loota, Okasian, and KOHH. The track drew controversy after Keith Ape was accused by American rapper OG Maco of cultural appropriation and plagiarism of the latter’s debut single, “U Guessed It.” The two have since reconciled.
