Punjabi rap collective Bad Mundey dropped their single, “Mai Desi Tu Dalda” featuring members, Al Bamania, Harjas Harjaayi, and Sky 38 on August 7.

The trippy music video sees the boys jamming to the Ankee-produced beat at a house party. Director Badbola is a fellow rapper and Bad Mundey member who has filmed most of their videos, including their last release, “Ek Se Ek” (We’re The Same), from June this year.

This is the collective’s sixth release this year, three of which were collaborative rap tracks, while the remaining three beats were produced by member Veekalp.

Hailing from the Northern Indian city of Chandigarh, Bad Mundey’s music showcases their city pride. In their single, “Represent My City,” off their 2019 eponymous album Bad Mundey, Sky 38 raps, “Represent kar Chandigarh ko hip hop se karate rahenge till the end” (I will continue to represent Chandigarh’s hip hop till the end). The group raps in a mixture of Punjabi, Hindi, and English.
