Although we are still in a pandemic, outside is finally opening back up, including some of the world’s biggest music festivals.

The 2021 HipHopDX Rising Stars are going to have an exciting summer, as majority of them are now adding music festivals like Rolling Loud NYC, BUKU Planet B, and JMBLYA to their resumés.

Within six months, the promising bunch has continued to be on the never-ending grind of making a name for themselves. From album drops to creative music visuals – and a few unforgettable performances – the Rising Stars haven’t missed a beat!

On Tuesday (June 8), Rolling Loud took to its socials to announce its return to Queens, New York for a 3-day event filled with damn near every relevant Hip Hop artist out right now.

2021 HipHopDX Rising Star Flo Milli was one of the firsts to post her Rolling Loud NYC announcement on Instagram.

The New York line-up, taking place Thursday through Saturday (Oct. 28-30), includes 50 Cent, J. Cole and Travis Scott as headliners, with a special appearance from formerly-incarcerated Bobby Shmurda. Flo Milli will also be sharing the stage with fellow DX Rising Stars Sheff G, 42 Dugg, Sleepy Hallow, Yung Bleu and Morray.

However, Flo Milli isn’t stopping there.

As a follow-up to her RL announcements, she has also announced her recruitment to BUKU Planet B and JMBLYA festivals happening in September and October.

Another 2021 Rolling Loud NYC performer and HipHopDX Rising Star, 42 Dugg, took to Instagram to share sentiments from CMG CEO and veteran-rapper Yo Gotti.

Following a PSA made for any member of the public with a Hellcat or Track Hawk to come join his Detroit music shoot for “Best Friends,” 42 shared an interview Yo Gotti did with XXL magazine expressing his thoughts about the fellow CMG/Interscope label-mate and Rising Star.

Yo Gotti Partners With Interscope - Impacting Moneybagg Yo, 42 Dugg + CMG Roster

Its obvious 42 Dugg made this statement connecting to an interview he did with The Breakfast Club where he mentioned police had been harassing him in Detroit just because of his fame. Good to know they weren’t a nuisance this time!

In other news, 2021 HipHopDX Rising Star Yung Bleu is also joining the Rolling Loud NYC stage and he just dropped a sexy single “Baddest” featuring Chris Brown and 2 Chainz.
