Power 106 certainly kept up with its slogan as Los Angeles’ #1 radio station for Hip Hop on Saturday (May 12) when it brought a huge crowd out for their Powerhouse 2018 concert at Glen Helen Amphitheater in San Bernardino, California.
By noon, gates to the Glen Helen grounds opened and sprawled with opportunity for attendees to get a quick rush of adrenaline by hopping on the zip line or the chance to do something more chill like a ride on the colossal Ferris wheel overlooking the illustrious Powerhouse stage. There were also tons of food trucks to choose from to help appease the appetite while waiting in between performance acts.

The show kicked off with a dope set by Phora and closed out with L.A.’s own Nipsey Hussle, who performed cuts off his debut album Victory Lap. N.E.R.D (Pharrell, Chad and Shae) also hit the stage and got the crowd hype with a few their hits and of course with “Lemon.” Miguel, Logic, Lil Dicky, Yo Gotti, Tinashe, Tech N9ne, Kyle and Phora are also among the many Hip Hop acts to hit the main Powerhouse stage this year. On Powerhouse’s New @ 2 Stage, bubbling female rap star Saweetie rocked the crowd as well as Sacramento’s Mozzy, South Central’s G. Perico and 24hrs among others.
