According to a familiar cliché, a picture is worth a thousand words. Your favorite celebrities—including rappers—are doing less and less press, but luckily their thumbs and smartphones still work. Instagram has provided a way for them to document their lives and/or thoroughly embarrass themselves for our collective enjoyment. The beauty of it all is that you don’t even need to join Instagram, as most rappers are perfectly fine leaving their feeds open for public viewing. And if you’d rather avoid the IG life altogether, we’ve filtered through the top rapper’s pictures and videos and consolidated all the week’s events into one convenient feed.
This week, Drake and Future drop their project “What A Time To Be Alive,” The Game announces a double album for “The Documentary 2,” and Snoop Dogg will be starting a website for marijuana.
Rich Homie Quan Investigated By Child Services
Rich Homie Quan has taken to IG to apologize for a video where he is shown smoking with his one-year-old son on his lap. It was reported earlier that police and child services were investigating him after seeing the video. Caption: “To whom it may concern: First off, I would like to apologize to my son, (Royal) my fans and all the parents around the world.By no means would I do anything to hurt my son or any kid in the world. I regret that I chose to continue to smoke once Royal jumped in my lap. After looking back on it I realize my error and I am sorry for my actions. I would also like to take the time to let people around the world know that this pedestal that I have been placed upon I do not take it for granted but I need people to understand that I am only human and I make mistakes just like anyone else. In spite of this situation, I will continue to strive to be the best parent I can be. Thanks RHQ!!”

Chance The Rapper Announces Birth Of First Child
Chance the Rapper has announced the birth of his first child, a baby girl. The Chicago emcee did not share details about his daughter’s birth but said the child is now out of the hospital. He kindly asks for some privacy. Caption: “I got to take my child home. Thank God, her mother, our families, the medical staff at Women’s Prentice and an amazing organization called The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicago. I love this time in my life, and I’ve learned to love better because of it. I wanted to make a grandiose and poetic statement with her weight and size and DOB to show how much this means to me, but I think it’d be more appropriate and fatherly of me to just say thanks to those who helped us during this pregnancy, and ask for a little privacy in this time for me and my new family to get settled.”

The Game’s “The Documentary 2” Will Be A Double Album
It looks like there’s an explanation to why The Game’s upcoming project The Documentary 2 is taking so long. He announces that it will be a double album, consisting of 38 tracks. The first half will be released October 9, and the second half October 17. Caption: “Proud to announce to my fans the REASON it took so long to get this album to you… Because it’s a MOTHAFUCKIN’ “DOUBLE DISC” !!!!! In a world where labels punk artists to keep their albums down to 10-12 songs… I don’t give a fuck so because 2 of my favorite artists in 2Pac & Notorious B.I.G. put out dope double albums… I figured 10 years into an iconic career I’d give my fans the opportunity to have one from me…… The reason one is a red bandana & a blue bandana is to bring awareness to the “100 Days 100 Nights” & on going Crip & Blood epidemic that has plagued my city recently & in the past…. & really explained to the world how things like this occur & have occurred since 1970 when gang bangin’ was created in Los Angeles & its surrounding cities & hoods….. The albums are very lyrical & descriptive as well as dope production wise & Dr. Dre approved….. This is AFTERMATH !!! & I cannot wait til you guys get these albums… Disc one is available now for pre-order just CLICK THE LINK in my bio…. & will drop October 9th in stores & on iTunes….. Disc 2 will be available shortly & will drop in stores & on iTunes the following week on October 16th !!!!!! I put everything I had into making this album #CLASSIC & I appreciate you guys for the love & support & definitely your patience with me completing this album – The Game#TheDocumentary2”
